Dr. Jonathan Parsons, of the division of pulmonary, allergy, critical care and sleep medicine at the Ohio State University Medical Center and associate director of its
asthma center, has been awarded funding from the American College of Sports Medicine Foundation for researching the prevalence of exercise-induced asthma in college athletes.
